Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

Genesis and James

The Study begins Thursday, September 17th, 2026. You can join any time throughout the year. We are offering in person and online remote core group.

CBS is an interdenominational Bible Study.

Currently Studying: Psalms

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present.

New studies for the 2026-2027 class year:

The book of James and the first 22 chapters of Genesis

Genesis is the book of beginnings that addresses questions people are still asking today: Who is God? Why is there evil? Why are we here?

In this study of Chapters 1-22, you’ll see a personal Creator who forms, breathes life into, and walks with His people… a world made good, a calling given, a creation fractured, and a God committed to restoring it. Genesis invites us to trust the God who made us, calls us, and is making all things new.
